Product of Israel. Region: Galilee. Variety: Cabernet Sauvginon Alc/Vol 14.5% Kosher for Passover: Yes Mevushal: No Tasting Notes: Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon presents ripe blackberry and cherry fruit notes, complemented by characters of pipe tobacco, black tea and a hint of fresh herb. Rich and complex, this classic Cabernet displays full body and a lingering finish. Food Pairing: The wine goes wonderfully with a seared ribeye steak, grilled lamb chops, braised veal shanks, or a rich mushroom stroganoff. Though ready to drink upon release, the 2013 Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon will improve markedly with a few more years in the bottle, and should remain in great drinking condition for 10-15 years and more from harvest.
