Product of Australia. Region: Bellarine, Geelong. Appearance: Vibrant deep brick red with purple tinges. Nose: Complex and aromatic nose with savoury red fruit characters. Palate: A distinctively cool climate Shiraz with vibrant boysenberry, cranberry and black cherry, mingled with an earthly smokiness and spice consisting of white pepper, cinnamon and clove. A fine web of tannins give this wine exceptional length and balance. Winemaking: Wild fermented in small open top fermenters, pumped over, hand plunged and macerated on skins for 10 days. Aged in French oak from Allier forest for 16 months. Cellaring: 10+
